OPEN-SOURCE CNC ASSEMBLY AND OPERATIONS TRAINING
The CNC Training Programme was a structured four-day technical engagement designed to strengthen practical capacity in digital manufacturing through hands-on experience in CNC machine development. The training brought together experts to collaboratively build and operationalize an open-source CNC system, while deepening their understanding of mechanical systems, motion control, and machine intelligence.
Positioned within the broader vision of advancing local manufacturing capability, the programme served not only as a technical exercise but also as a platform for knowledge exchange, problem-solving, and applied engineering practice. It highlighted the importance of precision, system integration, and iterative learning in achieving functional and reliable manufacturing systems.
